Shopping Spree at Quality Center!

Quality Center for Rehabilitation and Healing was proud to host an incredible in-house shopping spree on October 3, 2017!

With the generous support from The Next Steps Resource Center & Wilson County Community Help Center, Quality Center For Rehabilitation & Healing transformed into a pop-up department store on October 3rd where residents were treated to an afternoon of FREE shopping!

Brent Jarreau, Director of Community Relations for Quality Center, shared “It’s easy for people to take some of life’s little freedoms for granted, such as browsing the aisles of a department store. If we can find simple ways to give back some of those feelings of independence, I’m all for it.”

Quality Center would like to thank Ben Spicer and The Wilson County Community Help Center, which supports residents of Wilson County in times of difficult circumstances by providing temporary assistance with food, clothes, utility help and limited medical assistance. “We also serve the community as an inexpensive thrift store. Not everyone wants to ask for help and items can be purchased for pennies on the dollar. Anyone can shop here and all profits after paying staff and expenses goes back into the community,” said Spicer.

Julie Hadlock, director of The Next Steps, loved the idea and stepped in to help without hesitation. Her nonprofit has assisted countless people to get back on their feet with her many amazing resources. Please visit them online at http://www.nextstepresource.org/ to learn more.

Quality Center would like to thank our community partners for assisting and supporting our in-house programming for residents and staff.
